Agreement to Terms. By accessing or using AuthorMind Hub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our platform.
1. Definitions
- "Platform" refers to AuthorMind Hub, including all websites, services, and applications
- "We," "Us," "Our" refers to AuthorMind Hub and its operators
- "You," "User" refers to any individual or entity using the Platform
- "Author" refers to users who upload content and train AI chatbots
- "Learner" refers to users who subscribe to and interact with AI chatbots
- "Content" refers to text, images, files, datasets, and other materials
- "AI Chatbot" refers to AI-powered conversational agents trained on Author-uploaded content
2. Eligibility
To use AuthorMind Hub, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
3. Account Types and Responsibilities
3.1 Author Accounts
As an Author, you:
- Must verify your identity before publishing (see Section 3.3 below)
- Own or have rights to all uploaded content
- Agree to ethical AI use guidelines and content authenticity standards
- Can test for free with limited uploads (1 PDF, 20,000 words per dataset)
- Pay $50 one-time fee to publish datasets and enable monetization
- Earn 60% revenue from Learner subscriptions ($3 per $5 subscription)
- Are responsible for accuracy and legality of your content
3.2 Learner Accounts
As a Learner, you:
- Receive 1-day free trial per dataset (24 hours)
- Pay $5/month per dataset after trial ends
- Can cancel anytime without penalty (no refunds for partial months)
- Access includes: unlimited AI chat, quizzes, daily challenges, badges, leaderboards
- Acknowledge that AI responses may differ from Author's views
- Must cross-reference AI responses with original works
3.3 Identity Verification (Authors)
Before publishing datasets and receiving payments, Authors must complete identity verification:
- One-time requirement: Verify once, publish unlimited datasets forever
- Process: Scan a government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, or national ID card) and take a matching selfie
- Powered by Stripe Identity: Verification is processed securely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor
- No cost to you: The platform covers all verification fees
- Data handling: We do not store your ID documents; Stripe securely processes and retains verification data per their privacy policy
- Pen names allowed: Your legal identity is verified privately, but you may use a pseudonym publicly on the Platform
- Verification failure: If verification fails, you may retry or contact support for assistance
Why we require verification:
- Prevent impersonation of well-known authors
- Ensure accountability for uploaded content
- Comply with payment processing regulations (KYC requirements)
- Build trust between Authors and Learners
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Author Fees
- $50 one-time upgrade fee to publish datasets (after free testing)
- Payments processed securely
- No refunds after payment (you tested first in free mode)
- Exceptions for technical issues or Platform errors
4.2 Learner Subscriptions
- $5/month per dataset subscription
- 1-day free trial (24 hours) before first charge
- Automatic renewal unless cancelled
- Cancel anytime from Learner Dashboard
- No refunds for partial months
- Promo codes may apply (discounts on first month or upgrade fee)
4.3 Revenue Sharing (Authors)
- Authors receive 60% of Learner subscription fees
- Platform retains 40% commission
- Payments processed monthly to your connected account
- Minimum payout threshold: $25
- Authors responsible for tax reporting
4.4 Payment Processing
- All payments processed through secure payment infrastructure
- We never store your payment card details
- You authorize automatic charges for subscriptions
- Failed payments may result in service suspension
5. Content Ownership and Rights
5.1 Your Content
Authors retain full ownership of uploaded content. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to:
- Store and display your content on the Platform
- Process content with AI to train dataset-specific chatbots
- Allow subscribed Learners to interact with your AI chatbot
- Generate AI responses based strictly on your content
5.2 Content Warranties
By uploading content, you represent and warrant that:
- You own or have rights to the content
- Content does not infringe on third-party rights (copyright, trademark, etc.)
- Content is not illegal, harmful, or violates ethical guidelines
- For pseudonymous Authors: you provide evidence linking your identity to the pen name
⚠️ Copyright Violations: Authors are solely responsible for copyright compliance. AuthorMind Hub is not liable for user-uploaded content that infringes on third-party rights. We will remove infringing content upon notice.
5.3 AI-Generated Content
- AI chatbot responses are derived from Author's uploaded content
- Authors retain ownership of original content
- Learners may use AI responses for personal learning
- Commercial use of AI responses requires Author permission
- We do not claim ownership of AI-generated responses
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree NOT to:
- Upload illegal content: Child exploitation, terrorism, violence
- Infringe rights: Copyright, trademark, patent violations
- Spread misinformation: False health claims, fake news
- Harass or abuse: Hate speech, discrimination, threats
- Spam or scam: Phishing, pyramid schemes, fraud
- Hack or exploit: Unauthorized access, reverse engineering
- Scrape data: Automated data collection without permission
- Impersonate: Falsely represent yourself as another person or entity
- Upload AI-generated content: Content must be authentically authored by you
Consequences: Violations may result in account suspension, content removal, or legal action.
7. AI Limitations and Disclaimers
⚠️ AI Accuracy Disclaimer: AI chatbots are trained on Author-uploaded content but may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading responses. Learners should:
- Cross-reference AI responses with original works
- Not rely solely on AI for critical decisions
- Understand AI limitations (bias, hallucinations, misinterpretation)
We do not guarantee:
- Accuracy of AI-generated responses
- That AI responses reflect the Author's current views
- That AI will answer all questions correctly
- That AI is free from bias or errors
Human Oversight: We encourage Authors to enable human review for complex topics. Learners are advised to consult professionals for critical advice (medical, legal, financial).
8. Verification and Content Review
8.1 Author Verification
We verify Authors through:
- Government-issued ID (via tools like Jumio)
- Verifiable social media profiles (Twitter/X, LinkedIn)
- Copyright registrations or affidavits (for pseudonyms)
8.2 Content Review
We may review uploaded content for:
- Copyright compliance (plagiarism scans via Originality.ai, Copyleaks)
- AI-generated content detection (via Turnitin)
- Ethical guidelines and bias checks
- Legal compliance
We reserve the right to reject or remove content that violates these Terms.
8.3 Chat Monitoring and Logging
By using the Platform, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Chat history: Conversations are saved so you can view your chat history and continue previous discussions
- Quality improvement: Chat logs may be reviewed by administrators to improve AI response quality
- Feedback tracking: Your ratings (Helpful/Not Helpful) help us improve AI responses
⚠️ Important: Do not share sensitive personal information in chat conversations, including:
- Passwords or financial account details
- Social Security numbers or government IDs
- Medical records or health information
- Any information you would not want administrators to see
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Platform Ownership
AuthorMind Hub owns all intellectual property in the Platform, including:
- Website design, logos, trademarks
- Software, code, algorithms
- Documentation and tutorials
9.2 DMCA Compliance
We comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content infringes your copyright:

- Include: your contact info, description of copyrighted work, location of infringing content, good faith statement
- We will investigate and remove infringing content promptly
9.3 Counter-Notice
If your content was removed due to a DMCA claim, you may file a counter-notice if you believe the removal was mistaken.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
- AuthorMind Hub is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for AI inaccuracies, content errors, or damages arising from Platform use
- We are not liable for third-party content, services, or links
- Total liability limited to amounts paid by you in the past 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AuthorMind Hub from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your content, or violations of these Terms.
11. Termination
11.1 By You
You may terminate your account anytime by:
- Cancelling subscriptions from your dashboard
- Contacting support to delete your account
11.2 By Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Upload prohibited content
- Fail to pay required fees
11.3 Effect of Termination
- Authors: Your datasets will be removed from the Platform
- Learners: You lose access to subscribed content
- No refunds for terminated accounts (unless termination was in error)
- Provisions that should survive termination (indemnity, limitation of liability) remain in effect
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
Before filing a claim, contact us at support@authormindhub.com to resolve disputes informally.
12.2 Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be settled by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
12.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree to resolve disputes individually and waive the right to participate in class actions or collective proceedings.
12.4 Governing Law

13. Changes to Terms
